Meet Chatty the Mime!

Performer, Juggler, Mime, Science Enthusiast, & Professional Clown
 

A proud New Orleans native, Chatty has been entertaining audiences for more than 15 years with a unique blend of mime, juggling, magic, comedy, balloon art, and good old-fashioned fun. From schools and libraries to festivals, community events, and special programs, Chatty brings an energetic and interactive style of entertainment that gets audiences laughing, participating, and sometimes wondering, “How did she do that?”
 

One of Chatty's specialties is object manipulation and juggling, and she is especially well known for her trademark bowler-hat juggling. But there's much more to Chatty than clowning around.
 

Behind the bowler hat is a lifelong love of science, technology, creativity, and learning. Chatty holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Tulane University and has spent much of her professional life working in technology. She brings that same curiosity and problem-solving spirit to Chatty Curl the Science Gurl, her STEM-focused character who makes science fun, silly, accessible, and engaging for young audiences.
 

Whether she's juggling, performing magic, creating balloon animals, exploring a science concept, or simply making a child laugh, Chatty believes that learning and play belong together.
 

When she's not performing, Chatty enjoys gardening, astrophotography, astronomy, and comic books—because there's always something new to grow, discover, or imagine.
